JOYCELYN DENISE ESTES May 4, 1957 - December 27, 2001 JOYCELYN DENISE ESTES was called home to her Lord on Dec. 27, 2001. Joycelyn was born May 4, 1957 in Houston. She graduated from Worthing High School. She was a beloved member of Grave Missionary Baptist Church, where she was Youth Director, President of the Mission and a member of the choir. She loved the Lord and taught bible classes. Joycelyn was an accomplished bowler and enjoyed playing in her league. She was a devoted friend and mother. Her children were the most important thing in the world to her. She is survived by her three daughters, Denise Faye Estes Warren and her husband, Larry; Crystal R. Estes and Kalika S. Estes; stepmother, Flora Lee Wilkins, brothers, Herman Wilkins, Jr., Anthony Wilkins, Donald Ray Wilkins, Richard Wilkins, Gary Wilkins, Robert Powell; sister, Sheila Wilkins, and special friends Sylvia Murdock, Beverly Lewis, and the Peter Wareing family. The Wake will be held Sunday, December 30th from 7 PM to 9 PM at Grace Missionary Baptist Church located at 4315 Shelby Circle Drive at Bellfort, Houston, Texas 77051. Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 31, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. at Christway Church, 9115 Comal, Houston, Texas. Interment will be Houston Memorial Gardens.
