I remember Mrs. Houston from St. Christopher's Church; she was a lovely lady. Her daughter, Shirley, was in grade school there with me. Mrs. Houston and my mother, Val Hodges, were born on the same day, March 8.

Miss Julia was a wonderful neighbor and friend. As well, she was an "extra grandmother" for our sons Robert and Philip. We were all blessed to know her.
