To Karen's Family: I've known Karen for 13 years and in that time, she always was helpful and knowledgeble about Fisher. As a person, she was the best. Karen was very proud of her children and was always showing the latest pictures. I will miss her friendly smile and her true concern for people. Karen and her family will be in my prayers. God bless.

To the family and friends of Karen -she was truly a special soul who will be deeply missed. I had the pleasure of meeting Karen when I first started with Fisher in 2001. She made me so comfortable from the day I met her. Always had a great big hug for me and continued to check up on me when she was back in Houston. She truly adored her kids and kept me up to date on every aspect of their lives and how proud she was of them. We love you and will miss you. Love, Jen

To the family and friends of Karen Knighton.
I extend my prayers to all of you at this time of grief and loss. I knew Karen, for only a brief period, during the integration of the business cultures and operations of Safety Equipment with Fisher Safety. Karen was a major contributor to the success of the integration. She worked very unselfishly and with compassion for others. She shared with me, at times, her love and concern for family and friends, during the time of separation between Tampa and Houston. I had a great deal of respect for her talent and dedication. Karen, You have truely touched my life. You shared your knowledge so freely and always had a great big smile and that funny laugh for all who needed to be cheered up. We will miss you running through the halls. Fisher will never be the same without you. Megan and Cody always remember how much your mom loved you and how proud she was of you. Karen was a very special lady. Her physical beauty was apparent but her inner beauty was what made Karen so special. She was very caring and always willing to give of herself to others. I don't know that "No" was in Karen's vocabulary.
I will especially miss Karen's smile and her incredible laugh. They were both contagious.
My thoughts and prayers are with Karen's family during this difficult time. To Karen's children, Meghan and Cody, Your Mom was so proud of you. She never traveled anywhere without the most recent pictures of her "babies".
I will miss you, Karen.

Karen was a trainer by nature. She so freely shared her knowledge with all that worked with her. Her caring disposition just made it so easy to learn from her. More than anything she was my friend. We enjoyed a lot of laughs and fun. She loved her children so much and we all looked forward to new pictures each time we got together. Please know your mother loved you deeply. She will be your guardian angel. Karen you will be missed greatly.

Words cannot express how much Karen will be missed. I will never forget all of the times we shared. Karen taught me so much at work but we also became very good friends in our personal lives. Karen helped me thru a troubled marriage and supported me always in my decisions. Life is precious! I love you Karen!!

To Karen's family, David, Barry, Megan and Cody, my heart and prayers go out to each of you during this difficult time. How do you say in just a few words the impact she had on so many people that she called her "Fisher family". I am blessed because God put Karen in my path 9 years ago and I can say that I had the honor and priviledge to call her co-worker and friend. We shared a lot of laughs together, everything from her favorite blonde jokes to who walked the fastest through the office. I will miss our waves to each other through my office window out to the atrium but I will always see her there. To Megan and Cody, your mom was so proud of you and shared pictures and stories that are special to us moms. You brought her great joy! God be with you as you live out the hopes she has in you both. Karen was such an awesome person! Always willing to share her vast knowledge with anyone. Megan and Cody you'll probably never know, this side of heaven, just how much your mama truly loved you. To the children of Karen. - You probably never heard of me but if you mother kept a scrap book of Fisher my picture will be in it. I was working for Fisher when Karen first started. In fact I trained her in Customer Service. Was at her wedding with Barry and remember when each of you were born. She was a great person and as you can see was remember over the years. I retired in 1986. Our Prayers are with all.

Your Karen was a great spirit, we worked together over the past 6 1/2 years. She had worked in the Atlanta branch alot over the last few years and we had become friends.....She will be missed by many. I will especially miss that great laugh of hers.

I wish to extend my sincerest sympathy to Megan and Cody, and David, Mr. Premo and Karen's other family members. I am shocked that such a bright light has gone on. Karen was truly a special person and I so appreciated her friendship and her desire to help with training issues. Karen kept her youthful spirit and she had boundless energy. I think that is what made her so endearing. (Like passing around those dried-up marshmallow Peeps as a reward for a job well done in training. - The funny part is I think she converted some of us to her love of Peeps!) She wasn't afraid to laugh at herself and I will cherish her story about her interview with Fisher - especially the part about what she wore to the interview. Karen was so proud of Megan and Cody and she loved them with all her heart. I haven't seen Karen in several years, but I know her love of life remained with her until the end.

Karen was one of the first people from Fisher that I got to know back in 1996. For those of us that are old CMS folks, she was the one who taught us the Fisher system.
Karen was a vibrant and energetic person who did everything at full speed. She was even hard to keep up with in the halls. I know that in one form or another she touched the lives of all of us in Houston.
Our deepest sympathy for her family and her children.. we talked in the past of her unabiding love for them.. She will be sorely missed by everyone.
