Not sure what to say?

Kenneth was a very special person not only in my life, but my family as well. I worked with him at HL&P company for eleven years. My husband Gary went to A&M games, also to see Elvis when he came to the rodeo in the seventies...

He was always so generous to get both of our sons into the rodeo..Our oldest Brian and also when he met his furture wife Melissa made sure they had super seats to see there favorite stars. He got our youngest son Scott a ride on the back of the firetruck and he talked about it for days!!!

Always did for others without anything in return...He was just like that..He was a hard worker and worked with Gary on the swimteams in Cypressdale Subdivision and had so much fun.

He always kept in touch with everyone and would call around your birthday or his!!

We will miss him and we know he is pulling for those Aggies up in Heaven!!!

Sincerely, Gary, Janice, Brian, and Scott Pruett and family

Uncle Kenneth: You will always be the kindest of relatives. As your sons and I grew up together, we shared so many memorable moments. From Pasadena to Crockett, and so many places in between, it was always an adventure. You blessed us in so many ways that it will be difficult to let all those memories fade. Thank you for being a grea uncle, and a helping hand to all of our family.

Papa Ken,

You were the only Grandpa I ever knew. I never forget my great memories with you as you watched me grow up into the person I am today. I will never forget our times at the river house, the rodeo and many many more. If it were not for you I may have not ended up graduating for Texas A&M. I will forever cherish that you were in my life as my grandpa, my Papa Ken.

Cousin Kenneth always took the time to reach out to say hello, to ask how things were, to just stay in touch. I will miss his calls, his humor, and his political commentary. Gloria and I were blessed to have him, Wynn, June and Cathy visit us in Kansas in October 2010. Not that long ago. He really wanted to see the house at the Lake of the Ozarks, and we did! Gloria got a kick out of his morning request for oatmeal, prepared the way he liked it.

To the Sims Family,

I have known Mr. Sims (I've always called him Mr. Sims) for 16+ years since first joining the Calf Scramble Donors Committee in 1996. I knew very few people that first year and he was very gracious and extended his friendship to me. After moving to the Arena Committee I saw him every year as he was always present in the Calf Scramble Room with the kids during the Show. He will be missed! May God comfort you during this temporary separation knowing that "absent from the body, present with the Lord" and that as believers we will be reunited with him again and for all eternity. You are in our prayers. Ron, Calf Scramble Committee and D.A. Brother

Mr. Sims will always have a special place in my heart, he is responsible for getting me my job with HL&P which lasted 41 years. Since Charles and I were friends I spent a lot of time in the Sims home and he was always a friend. Although I will miss him I have no doubt that he cheering the Aggies on from heaven.

We know you will continue to watch over our family!
