Kim was very dear friend to me. We grew up in Rochester New York. We went to church and school together. I loved her dearly. She was one of my best friends growing up in Rochester New York. I really broke my heart to hear that she has passed away. I miss her so much. Rest In peace Kim you will never be forgotten about. And you will live in our hearts . love you always

On behalf of the Green family, we would like to extend our prayers and sympathy to the family of Kim. kim and Brian touched the lives of so many people here in New Orleans. Brian and Kim were always together like two beans in a pot braising with a purpose for GOD. The family fell in love with kim the moment we met her. Kim and Brian liked to sing at every family event/gathering we had, including birthday parties, thanksgiving and christmas dinners, weddings, graduation parties, picnics and etc; Brian and kim sang and played the organ at my brother's wedding last May 3, 2003. Their picture in the wedding album will forever be cherised and a simple reminder of those special people that God put in our lives. They were a true blessing. We will remember Kim as a God-fearing woman and a woman of strenth and power. Her personality just glowed like a beacon of light and it has shed on the lives of so many individuals.
Words Of Encouragement:
WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT, BUT JOY COMES IN THE MORNING... Smile! Have Joy knowing that Kim and Brian are probably somewhere in the Lord's Kingdom celebrating they're life. Brian is playing the tunes of those old church hymms grandmother once sang, and kim is lifting her voice singing sweet songs of zion with Mahalia Jackson and other late gospel greats.
May GOD continue to keep and bless your family. We love you and will continue to pray for you......

We rejoice in how Kim lived, not in how she died!
How do I say Good Bye to one who has inspired so many. We go way back. Our children went to school together, sang together and even recorded together. That dyamite youth choir that recorded 8 years ago at WMBC in Stafford TX under her direction blessed us all. I know your crown fits you well. To Robert, play on! You had the best teacher on God's earth. Our prayer are with your family.

Gensis 3:19--"for dust thou art, and dust shalt thou return", thank God for the opportunity given to meet Ms Kim Yvette some 20 years ago through Gerald Glasper. I remember we would be traveling down the highway and I would be lending my support. We had some wonderful times-I thank God for them. When I needed her she was right there, she would catch a cab or whatever it took to get there. I hadn't seen her for a while but we talked from time to time. I will miss my friend but I have alot of fond memories her.

I have had the gracious opportunity of knowing Ms. Kim through her husband Bryan Dobbs. Bryan was an excellent piano player who use to play for our church musicals at St. Stephen Baptist Church located in New Orleans, La. I knew Ms.Kim by renting vehicles to her at Advantage Rent-A-Car. She will be sadly missed by those who knew her here at the Southwest Freeway Location. Dobbs family we extend our condolescences to you for your loss however, this is a time of celebration because she and her husband are beginning a new life with the Almighty God.

A group of us from Willowridge Baptist Church had the pleasuree of running into Kim at a local resturant approx. a month a go. Rest assured she was herself,all smiles and talking about the Lord.
