The way I remember Kyle was always being goofy in class and getting in to trouble. I have been friends with him for a couple of years now I guess you could say we were like best friends. He loved to go fishing even though he could hardly ever catch anything! but even though he couldnt it was always fun because kyle was there. He would always be mad because a girl (Me) could always catch more than him!! kyle was the one who made worst times the best. He could always put a smile on your face. We went bowling over Christmas break and Kyle, I guess thought he was so cool that he could bowl backwards between his legs until he fell on his butt, in front of everyone but of course he got up laughing!! Well Kyle was a good friend! And will never be forgotten!! I will always miss you Kyle!!!

Its hard to believe this tragedy has happened. I cant even find the words. All I know is that Kyle is in Heaven b/c of all the faith he had in God. Every time when Kyle and I were together he always talked about Mr. Ricky and how he wished he could have one more chance to be with him. Well i know both of them are up there in Heaven watching down on everyone who is suffering this huge loss. Kyle was an awsesome kid and he's the reason i wear the boots that i wear. My thoughts and prayers go out to Kyle's family and friends. Kyle, i will miss you forever and always.

Dear Lisa, Brittany and Morgan, When I think of Kyle, I remember a cute, bright eyed, squirmy little boy who had a difficult time sitting still for a haircut. What a sweet little face...May God wrap his loving arms around you all during this time of sorrow. You're in my thoughts and prayers

Dear Lisa, Brittany, & Morgan

I am at a loss for the right words, I know that God is looking after you and that He is giving you all the hugs and comfort that you need. I wish I could have been there to personally give you a hug, but as you know it wasn't possible.

Lisa, Morgan and Brittany:

We were all deeply saddened by your loss. I can only tell you that all of us have been praying for you all. The word Joy typically means to us laughing and happiness - which Kyle made us all do repeatedly!!!
But the word Joy from God's point of view is simply HIS STRENGTH. Let God be your strength, you do not have to carry this full burden. Wrap yourself in HIS Joy, and know that time is a precious gift from God. Time will eventually turn your tears of sorrow to uncontrollable tears of laughter as you remember the crazy things Kyle said and the goofy faces he'd make! I miss you very much.
All our love to each of you,
Ken, Shannon, Jacquelyn and Adam Pepperdene

A Classmate

January 5, 2008

Kyle was in my Algebra II B class last semester.... 7th period. He would walk into the classroom and be so completely full of life, it's difficult to imagine him any less animated than he was every single day. Even though Kyle's soul is no longer present on this Earth, you can be sure that his essence feels very safe, and warm, and loved. I believe that where ever his soul is... he is at peace. Right now you probably feel like a part of you died with him, but I know Kyle. I know that he would not want you to be so sad that you forget to live.

Dear Lisa,

I have no words that are adequate.... I had Kyle in both 10th and 11th grade English classes. He was of the group that moved up with me when I changed from the Sophmore to the Junior team... I have so many happy and funny memories of Kyle and his friends who were in those classes. He was helpful, respectful, and happy. I can only assure you that I am praying for you and Brittany and Morgan daily. I know God has a plan, even when we are not sure what that plan is. Lean on Him and take comfort that Kyle is a Christ followr (and a proud one at that I am happy to report!) He mentioned his faith on more than one occasion at school. Let the community embrace you and your family in this time of grief and may you draw strength from the love that surrounds you.

Kyle was one of a kind. No one will ever be able to take the place of this boy in my life or anyone elses. I am so happy that i got the oppurtunity to make some amazing memories with this kiddo. He was a pain sometimes. But I could never be mad at him for more then a couple of hours.. not with that innocent look he had. I am going to miss you like crazy. But i cant wait til the day i get to see you again. Love you with all my heart.

My prayers go out to everyone and Kyle's Family. Stay strong you will get through this tough time. He is watching you from up above, always by your side day and night.

Remember: God gives you these test because he knows that you are strong enough to pass them.

Kyle was a unique young man who was blessed with a huge heart. He was sweet and kind beyond measure. If I ever needed anything or any help; I could ask Kyle, and he would respond with, "Yes, ma'am". His smile will be greatly missed, along with his unusual sense of humor, and the ability to always make someone laugh unexpectedly. I can not even begin to understand the loss your family is dealing with, but remember we love you and are here for you. Kyle will always bring a smile in remembrance and has a special place in our hearts.

Lisa,
My heart breaks for you in this time. My sister is in FFA and was friends with Kyle. My prayers go up for all of you who are heartbroken over Kyle’s death. These kids are great kids, and I know they love you as much as they love Kyle. I’m grateful that they will wrap their love around you during this time. Above all of God’s promises, the one we can rejoice in right now is knowing that Kyle is in Heaven. Lean on your God, friends, family, church and the FFA family during this hard time. Know that many people are praying for you! I pray that God will comfort all of you in the days, months and years to come.

Lisa, I know there are no words that can take away the pain a mother feels when losing a child so My prayer for you and your family is that God will give you all comfort, peace and strength in your time of sorrow. I would like to share a scripture that continues to help me on my journey, Psalm 121.
One of my toughest lessons to learn was to take it one day at a time, and ask God to get me through this day, and not focus on how to get through tomorrow. I pray and ask God to send a comforting Angel of mercy to be with you all. Take Care and God Bless.
