Nell, Aunt Semmie & Family

Larry was my pastor, my cousin, my brother and my friend and I really, really miss him. He was so laid back and calm about everything. We loved him but God loved him more! Everything was quickly, quickly and that is the way he went home. He is at home, at peace, at rest. God picked another one of his beautiful flowers. I know it's hard but we have to be strong and carry on!

To: The Sudds & Roberson Families

Pastor Sudds was a great soldier in the Army of the Lord! We don't understand but God knew what he was doing. He will truly be missed by the congregation and by the people of the community. Pastor Sudds was always trying to help someone. His sermons about "Debt Free" are really important because he is now "Debt Free" with the Lord. Remember, "God is our Provider" and he will supply all our needs.

When Larry and I were Playing, Laughing, Dreaming as children, I never thought about, that this day would come. I knew then He was Special. His Laughter, His Spirit and his Character signified what type of man he would become. I did not call upon him that often, but as soon as he heard my voice, I knew he was there for me. Nell, Semmie and my neices I want you to know that I AM HERE FOR YOU and I LOVE YOU.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Chantay Hicks

February 27, 2006

Larry was my pastor, a good pastor. He would always call my job and ask me for help with a program or with something he was trying to do for the kids. He was notorious for doing things at the last minute.

Larry loved kids, he is the only pastor I know that was a champion for education, he would announce in church he would give a $1 for each "A" a child made on their report card and he did, no matter how many dollars he had to give away. He was the type of pastor who was interested in the total person, always asking how your day was and if you worked hard. If your children played sports, especially basketball, he wanted a schedule so he could attend the games, I really don't know of any pastor who would do that, not one, only Larry.

My family, especially my twins Dustin and Justin, who he named "Rusty, Dusty" will truly miss Larry.

To the family, hold on to God's unchanging hand, He is the only one who can bring you through this time of sorrow. I can just imagine, if Larry was asked if he wanted to stay where he is now with Big Mama and Papa, or come back here with us, he would without a doubt stay with Big Mama and Papa. You will continually be in our prayers.
