I didn't know Leiah but I heard of this story on the news. I want to share my deepest sympathy and let you know that I am praying for your family. I hope God's love bestows itself upon you during this difficult time. Your Leiah must have been an amazing person to have touched so many lives, across the country, even in Canada and Korea. WOW! Hopefully the great memories will carry you through the sadness of her departure. It sounds like her radiant smile as well as her legacy will live forever. You must be so proud of her accomplishments and hopefully that will bring comfort to your heart. Some may say her life was short but to make a big difference in a short time is better than to make little/no difference in a long time. God bless your family!

I still remember how excited Kiah was when she was accepted to Clark! He bragged constantly about his gorgeous lil sister ! Betcha by golly wow, she was ten times my expectation! Hey, we all know that everyone thinks highly of their lil sister, but Leiah!, she was special. She was a true blessing to our earth and although Im not a close friend of hers personally, I knew the family and what a beautiful family it is. I sincerely hope, that others will look at the beauty and whole hearted love in Leiah, and strive to be more like her. She was born blessed with the true heart and good soul that some people have to pray for and seek. It is truly a gift and she was adorned with beauty from the inside out. I know that Leiah is in heaven with that beautiful little boy of hers and I betcha he got her smile.Wow I know she is a wonderful mother. A loss of a family member is a devastation to say the least. I cant imagine what it feels like to loose a gem like her. Our generation hasn't produced many. Leiah was well bred. She was the epitome of greatness.

I wish I could have done things differently and stayed closer to my old friend. Leiah was the first person to speak to me when I transfered to Elkins and I will never forget how she made me feel like I had a friend. I was blessed to have known Leiah even if it was only for a short time. Leiah was one of my student aides at Elkins HS during her senior year. Eventhough I last saw Leiah about 9 years ago I still remember her beautiful big smile and caring personality. I'm very sadden about the way she passed. My condolences go out to the family. May God give you the strength to continue on. I do believe that Leiah and her baby boy are in a much better place at peace next to our father looking down at us with that big beautiful smile! Leiah was a beautiful person both inside and out. Although I hadnt seen her in over 2 yrs, I can remember vividly the last time I did. Like always, I was embraced with a sincere hug. She wore that beautiful smile adorned with gorgeous dimples and those bright eyes that shined through to a good heart and a true soul. I will always remember her that way. I did not know Leiah but I had to attend her wake service. This young lady was loved by many people. It was a blessing to see so many young people come out and support Leiah's family. God will take care of Leiah and her family, God never gives us more than we can handle. Leiah looked so peaceful and she is with God, her baby is also with God and they are together.
