Louise Hart Obituary

LOUISE HAYWOOD DAWN HART went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 2, 2008 at the age of 81. She was born in Murchison, Texas to Lester and Grace Haywood. She graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in 1943. She enjoyed working at Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. for 10 years. She was a faithful long time member of Jersey Village Baptist Church until 1985 when she and Bill moved to Temple, Texas, where they continued to serve the Lord. Louise was predeceased by husband Walter (Bub) Dawn in 1957. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Bill Hart; Sons: James Dawn and wife, Olga; Bobby Dawn and wife Melody; daughters: Jo Ann Dawn Stanley and husband, Robert; Frances Hart Karonika and husband, John; Annette Hart Kristynik and husband, Jeff; brother, Melvyn Haywood and wife, Beverly; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Louise always placed the needs of others before her own. She was a peacemaker. She was a lady in every sense of the word. Her quiet strength, lovely smile and sweet spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, March 5, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Scanio Harper Funeral Home at 3110 Airport Road, Temple, TX. A celebration of her life will be held at Scanio Harper Funeral Home in Temple, TX on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 11 am, with Reverend Martin Knox officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to: Alzheimer's Association, Capitol of Texas Chapter, 3429 Executive Center Dr., Ste. 100, Austin, TX 78731-1626, or to: Young Widows Fund at First Baptist Church, 102 West Barton Ave., Temple, TX 76501
