It is with great admiration and most fond memories that I bid goodbye to this wonderful woman. The world was more complete with such a creative, dynamic and beautiful soul. And although I hear the faintest shadow of her wonderfully infectious laughter just beyond the distance, I must embrace my sorrow for just a moment before celebrating her wonderful life. Mine and the lives of all who met Marilyn are richer for knowing her.

Marilyn was always fun and classy at the same time. Her smile and laugh will forever be a part of fond memories of a very special woman. Marilyn Short Chalmers spirit lives on in all of us. My prayers go out to all of those touched by her loving light. Bless you! ~Natalie T.

I only met Marilyn once, but she immediately made an impression. What a lovely, charming, gracious woman! I feel lucky to have known her, however briefly, and I am so sorry for your loss.

There aren't enough adjectives to describe Marilyn. Beautiful, gorgeous, gracious, caring . . . The list could go on and on. Suffice it to say that we were all made better by having her in our lives and she will be missed by many.

Marilyn was a special lady and I will truly miss her but I know I will see her again. It was such a joy to work for her at Compaq and see that smiling face each day. We were all blessed to have her in our lives.

Dear Marilyn will be missed more than she ever would imagine. She was such a wonderful person...always with her beautiful smile...and with her sparkle; always thoughtful and caring about others, always ready to give of herself. She most assuredly made a huge difference in the countless number of lives she touched. I, along with so many others, will miss her so. I still miss Chuck.

A truly gracious and fun-loving lady with a passion for life and jewelry ;-) I remember more than one occasion where she regaled us with stories of her adventures and her finds in Santa Fe. We'll miss her greatly.

Marilyn will be greatly missed. we first met in 1945. She was one of the last people I said "good bye" to when I moved to Nicaragua. My condolences to her family and other friends.

My condolences to Marilyn's family. I had the opportunity to meet her while working at Compaq in Marketing Communications. I admired Marilyn's grace, her smile, and her friendly demeanor. I always thought of her as one of the classiest people I had ever met, she surely will be missed.

Texas has lost another of its great ladies. She was such a beautiful, sparkling spirit. She was so kind, generous and welcoming. I'll always remember that trip we took to the Yucatan, and all the art auctions at the Rodeo. I'll always be grateful to her for letting me tag along. My condolences to all who knew her and have lost her. My deepest sympathies to Buster.

I was so blessed to have know Marilyn for so many years, as a boss, a friend but most of as an angel. She cried with me, laughed with me and we shared so many special moments & wonderful stories. Memories that I will always cherish. Will and I loved her on so many levels and already miss her terribly. Rest in Peace sweet Marilyn...
