Mr. and Mrs. Diggs, I cannot even begin to imagine your lost. Marcus was like a son to me and he will truly be missed. As of this date my son Chris Briscoe does not even know that his friend is gone and I can already feel his hurt when he finds out. To you Mr. and Mrs. Diggs, be strong and keep the faith because one day you will see him again; just remember, God said that he will never leave you.

To my family, I am sorry that I could not make it to see Markus before he was laid to rest. Seeing his picture in the paper brought back thousands of good memories of my time with him from the time he was a baby. I know this hurts, but stay strong and God bless. Markus, I know you are in a better place than this cold cold world. Your brother, I love you.
