Rev. Monroe Husfeld

REV. MONROE HUSFELD, born in Bowie, TX, August 7, 1927, the youngest child of Anna and Henry Husfeld. A graduate from Klein High School and the youngest student accepted at Concordia Theological Seminary at Springfield, ILL. He was assigned to his first church in California where he served for 20 years with many churches before relocating back to Texas where he retired after 31 years of taking care of Gods' work in numerous other churches, his last being Trinity Lutheran in Hempstead. Monroe is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sherlene; daughter, Victoria of Brookshire, TX; son, Curtis and wife Dollie Ann and their two children, Sydney and Jordan of San Benito, TX; a sister, Dorothy Radford of Houston, TX; two brothers, Norman of Hockley, TX and Gilbert and wife Ruby of Anderson, TX; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 4, 2003 from 6:00 - 8:00pm at Klein Funeral Home. Services will be at 10:30, Monday in the chapel of Klein Funeral Home, Tomball. Burial will follow at the Klein Memorial Park, FM 249. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to Brookwood Community, 1752 FM 1489, Brookshire, TX 77423.
