I met "Aunt Vella" at the hair salon over ten years ago. She had such a sweet smile and a kind and generous nature. I enjoyed talking to her, and I really enjoyed some of her good home cooking. She was a special lady, and I am happy I was blessed to know her. I will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers.

Novella is in heaven sitting at the right hand of GOD. I am a classmate form Worthing High School. She was a friend to all who knew her.

My deepest sympathy to Cleve and Linda Wesley and the entire family of Novella. I didn't get to meet her, but often heard such wonderful things about Novella from her friend, Lonnie Babers.

To the family...mere words cannot rightfully express what I feel on the inside. Novella was a BEAUTIFUL JEWEL that the Lord let us borrow. I just recently found out that Novella's birthday was only one day before my own. That last testimony she gave will always stay with me because she made it on my birthday. I will miss you Sweetie...that is what I called her.
Mother Wesley, Mark, Wendy, Paul and the entire family, you have my deepest condolences. I pray that you will seek the Lord for your strength and find comfort in all the wonderful memories that you have of Novella in your heart.
May God bless and keep you all...

Novella was a bright light straight from Heaven. She was a friend and the loving "baby sitter" for my nephew Larry. She was more than a caregiver for Larry, she was AUNT VELLA, and she taught, disciplined and embraced him and our entire family with a level of love that was true. She exemplified Christian faith and LIVED her testimony, daily. May God bless her family, in the coming days as her absence is felt.

attend the funeral due to my work schedule but my prayers are truely

I miss you already Sis. Williams. I remember the times after church mom and I would come over after church to eat, and I you and mother wouldn't let me get up from the table until I ate all of my food. And I am thankful for the times we were able to share when you were admitted to St. Luke's last year. You beat me in. I will see you in just a little while. Praise The Lord, you are free.
Forever in my heart!

Only God knows how much I will miss YOU! I will miss our talks and all the times we planned to shop and never did. I will miss planning the family meals with you. I will miss your beautiful smile. I don't feel like a sister-in-law but like a sister. You will have a special place in my heart forever and I have many wonderful memories to cherish. I know that you are at peace and the pain is but a memory now and I thank God for that. Enjoy your walks around heaven.
I love you, Novella Doris!
