I remember your wedding day as if it was yesterday. My best friend with her baby bump and you standing at the alter just grinning. Oscar you were and still is so beautiful to me. You took Junior (D'arcy) and made him your own. Oscar I always admired you. Because you made my sweet and wonderful friend happy. You made her smile from the age of 16-29. To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I will like to send my deepest sympathy to his wife and 5 kids, parents, siblings, and family. Oscar was a brother to me. I will always miss him and he will always be in my heart. One thing I can say is that he was truly a good and devoted friend; and I do know that he is looking over all of us. And I am truly thankful that God has truly blessed us with his presence and laughter. So right now just look at it that he is our Angel. I Love U Brother!!!

To the Cunningham Family, I want you to know that God loves you and he is not the author of confusion, or bad things happening to good people. His banner over us is love and he doesn't punish us by letting bad things happen to us. Don't let the enemy deceive you by trying to put guilt on you about anything. Oscar is at peace, and know that he is now in a better place than we can ever imagine, he is with the Lord. Be at peace, knowing your baby boy and brother is. As kids, we all try to be the best kids we can be, but we are not perfect, no one is. There was only one perfect person who walked the Earth, His name was Jesus. He is a good God. He is the author of good things in our life. He sticks closer than a brother, and is the closest to those who have a broken heart. I know that your heart is broken, ripped, and torn; but I also know that the Lord is with you and that He loves you. Crying endureth for a night, but joy will come again one day. I know right now you may feel like you will never have joy again, but you will. Oscar will never be forgotten, and all the memories that you have of your little baby boy will be etched in your heart forever, safe with you, he'll always be, your baby boy and little brother.I know you don't understand this,but the day is coming when you will see him again. He is standing at the portals of heaven with open arms, waiting to welcome you and all of his family at the appointed time God calls us all home. My prayer is for the family, that the Spirit of the Lord hovers over the entire family, right now, brings you comfort, gives you strength and peace in your soul. The angels are surrounded around the family right now to hold you up an take you through this, the most tragic of all tragedies. I don't believe that there is anything that can happen in life or hurts us more than losing a mother,daddy,brother, or sister. The Crosby Family will continue to pray for the family.

I went to HS with Oscar and I want to encouage the family...You, know, sometimes in life, situations are going to occur where you may look to the left or the right and you can't find any answers and you can't find anybody to help you but I'm reminded of the Word that says they that wait upon the Lord, He shall renew their strength.
