Passed away on October 29, 2016. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 10:00-10:55 AM with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 AM. Both services will be held at Bethel Institutional Missionary Baptist church, 5530 Selinsky, Houston, Texas 77048, Rev. James Hicks, officiating. The interment will be held at Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Paulette Colbert was a Mighty Woman of God and stood strong in her faith. Any day at Lunchtime you would see her at her desk reading her Holy Bible. She often expressed to me her assignment was Intercessory Prayer. Because she had faith and encouragement for others, they were all the better for having come in contact with her. May
God's Peace Surround your entire family. I will miss our talks about God, Family, and Everyday life.

Paulette was the most genuine person I'd ever met and had the privilege of working with at Black Stone. She was a kind and giving person who always had positive things to say about anyone. I loved to hear her laugh and I know she was so proud of her family. I will always have fond memories of her and will miss her. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family and know that she is loved by many.
