Peggy Cook Hull

Peggy Cook Hull of Houston, Texas, passed peacefully on November 9, 2025, after a long illness. She was raised and attended school in Pasadena. Peggy graduated from Pasadena High School in 1968. As a youth, she was very popular and enjoyed dancing and sailing with her father. She attended college at the University of Texas in Austin. Upon graduation she taught elementary school in Friendswood. Peggy married Jim Hull (now deceased) and together they had two children, Chrissy and Jonathan, and raised them in the Houston area where they attended Dulles High School. Peggy focused her children on education, sports and the arts while emphasizing gratitude and service.

Peggy was an entrepreneur. In the 1980s, she started Fitness on the Move which was a traveling fitness company that traveled to Houston area business and apartments providing aerobic classes. Peggy always had an eye for design and beauty and later founded Creative Touch Interiors, which became an award-winning design firm that she led for more than 30 years. She worked with many homebuilders and homeowners making homes both livable and beautiful. Her work was published in multiple design magazines. She was elected President of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and was active in the River Oaks Business Women's Exchange Club.

In 2007, Peggy married John Glover and together they were also involved in community work with Children at Risk, Preservation Houston, and other organizations. Peggy and John traveled extensively.

She is survived by her husband John Glover, daughter Chrissy Hull-Martinsson and her husband, Karl Henry, son Jonathan and wife, April Hull, grandchildren Oliver and Benjerman Hull, and extended family. She was predeceased by her father, William Berry "W.B." Cook Jr. Peggy will be remembered for her vision, elegance, and devotion to creating beauty and meaning in every part of her life. Celebration of her beautiful life to be held on Saturday, December 13 2025 from 4-7 pm at Bradshaw-Carter Funeral Home 1734 W Alabama St, Houston, TX 77098. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Children at Risk, Texas Institute for Rehab and Rehabilitation (TIRR) or Houston Public Media.
