F D "Pete" Jacobson
F. D. "Pete" Jacobson, 91, of Baytown, peacefully departed this life Saturday, March 27, 2021 at his home, with his loving family and friends by his side.
Pete was born August 31, 1929, in Rochelle, to parents; Felix R. and Lillian Hein Jacobson, a former resident of St. Croix, Virgin Islands, and has resided in Baytown for the past 48 years. He was a graduate of Casa Grande High School, a decorated veteran of the US Army with service during Korea, prior to marrying his sweetheart, Nancy L. Harrell Jacobson, on December 27, 1952, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Pete and Nancy were active members of Missouri Street Church of Christ in Baytown. Their lives in St. Croix U.S.V.I, and Soviet Russia afforded opportunities to help establish several church congregations. Pete also enjoyed fishing, boating, and playing golf.
In business Pete found himself always at the forefront of fast-paced technological advances in the Alumina, Oil Refining and Specialty Chemical Additive industries. Pete's warm embrace of all he met produced lifelong relationships the world over.
Mr. Jacobson was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Nancy Lois Harrell Jacobson, and daughter: Pamela Jacobson Yoder. He is survived by his sons: John Harrell Jacobson and Stephen Dean Jacobson, grandchildren: Tarryn Jacobson, Shannon Lee Yoder and John D. Yoder, great-grandchildren: Kellen, Pamela, and Maddox Dedeke, and Berlyn and Harly Uran, numerous other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. with time of remembrance at 7 p.m., Thursday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home in Baytown. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 5, 2021, at Fairview Cemetery in Bastrop, Texas.
Memorial contributions may be made in Pete's name to the food panty at Missouri Street Church of Christ.

I remember Pete as a very loving and caring man. He loved his family. His Jacobson cousins loved him like another little brother. They always looked forward to your visits in Brady. I am Norma Jacobson's granddaughter. 940-765-4194
