Ramee Donal Jordan II
1953-2020
Ramee Donal Jordan II, age 66, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, February 13, 2020. He was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on April 29, 1953 to Ramee Donal Jordan and Ann Lee Peck. He was married to his adoring wife, Mary Ann Kandrach Jordan, for 43 years. They were blessed with two sons, Paul and Ben.
Ramee earned his Associate of Arts at San Jacinto College in 1984 and Bachelor of Arts in Computer Information Systems at University of Houston - Clear Lake in 1993. Ramee worked in IT at Solvay Polymer, American General, AIG, Unocal and Chevron and retired in May 2018.
Ramee loved to play golf with his brother and very close friends. He loved sitting with his wife on their back deck and spending time feeding squirrels and birds in their backyard. He was very proficient with tools, had a deeply analytical mind and even built a fully functional RV out of a 10-foot box truck. He was an excellent photographer, videographer, golfer, wind surfer and racquetball player. Ramee's saying was, "You are where you want to be."
Ramee is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Jordan, two sons, Paul and Ben Jordan, a sister and brother-in-law, Connie (Velma) and Mike Singleton, and a brother, Marty Jordan. Ramee is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Texas and West Virginia.

It's hard to believe and shocking to hear that Ramee is gone. You were indeed a great leader, I worked with Ramee while in Chevron Nigeria- a very simple and easy going Manager. I remembered years after I moved to the US and I needed references from my previous jobs, I reached out to him and he said "I remember you Wale..." he sent me the reference letter with good notes, he was very willing to do it. He was such a very person. My condolence to the family and I pray that God will keep you all and give you the grace to bear the loss.

My sincere condolence to the entire family.
Ramee was a man of his words. I was privileged to work with him for about 18months in chevron Nigeria. He was amazing. So easy and great to work with. I have so much great things to say about him, but the most important one is, Ramee, am convinced u lived a fulfilled life. RIP RAMEE JORDAN.

Ramee was a great friend. I respected his calm and sanity and his knowledge and ability as a musician. He was truly committed to his art as he later turned his talent to photography. He was the friend everyone hopes for, even though much time had passed, when we reconnected, it seemed it had only been yesterday since we last spoke. We shared memories, shared interests, and I was reminded of his honesty and openness. I am honored to have had Ramee a friend and will treasure memories of that friendship.

To Mary Ann, Paul, Ben and Everyone,

It is hard to express the sadness I, and many, many others you don't know, feel upon learning of Ramee's passing.

We are friends from a long, long time ago, from a universe that Ramee was a part of that you may or may not be aware of.

But suffice it to say, even those many decades ago, we all recognized the special spirit and kindness that Ramee possessed. He touched us all in ways that we still remember to this day.

I will always remember the goodness that Ramee projected, and I am diminished to know that one of us has left. In this time of great sadness for you all, please know that there are many others who grieve with you. Know that Ramee touched many, many people through his life in such a positive way, and what better legacy could you ask for? I would only hope I would be remembered when the time comes as we remember Ramee.

Ramee, I have vivid memory of you smiling and making a joke. I don't remember a time when you were ever angry, always calm and composed. Some others may not know that you were also an avid Blackjack and Pool player. You will always be remembered.
