Dear Jamie, Dale, Dayle, Cathy, Al & Anna
I just found our about the tragic accident and feel so sad. I know that he left this world doing what he loved so I am thankful that he loved God and is with him now. I know that you all will miss him but take comfort that he is with his beloved Mother. He loved her so dearly!
Jamie, I was happy to know that you two did get married. The last time I saw him we talked about it. He had just recovered from his last accident and I told him he would be a fool not to marry you after you took such good care of him. I was also glad to hear that you have dogs. He once told me that he would never own another dog because of how devastated he was when he lost his dog years ago. I can tell that you brought much happiness to each others lives!
He will truly be missed!

Dear Jamie, Dale, Dayle, Cathy and Al,
I know it's nearing the end of this Guest Book being viewed, and I just wanted to let all of you know that I frequently think about you and hope that you are all hanging in there. I often stop in my tracks and feel great sadness, but then almost immediately put a smile on my face as I remember Randy. I realize that I've been removed from his life for quite some time, but it doesn't take away the heartache I feel…for all of us. You all are still in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless You. Oh, and Randy, Jamie was very gracious and considerate of me, I am grateful for her thoughtfulness. I thank both of you for allowing me to be part of your farewell. There are no accidents, and I thank God for channeling through someone’s voice to let me know you had passed. You touched a lot of lives…and we are all extremely lucky to have known you. Someone asked me yesterday if I thought you realized how many lives were touched by your kindness and spirit. I thought about it for a minute and said "no, he probably didn't because he was such an unassuming person." But you did touch many lives and certainly God has looked upon your face and said " Well done, good and faithful servant"

Wow, what a shock. I worked at Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube in the late 70's and 80's as office manager. We needed a good HVAC person. Robert Avera, who was our warehouse manager at the time, knew Randy and Al had just started their business and recommended we try them. Honest, friendly, and knowledgeable described them, and as long as I was there, we never looked for anyone else to do our HVAC work. But the weirdest part of all is that I heard of Randy's untimely death from one of my students at Tomball College tonight some 25 years since I have left Van Leeuwen! What an unusual coincidence. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

There are not enough words to express the love that I feel for my brother, Randy. He was my big brother and I always looked up to him. He always gave me advice and guidance. Looking back I only wish I had listened to what he had to say. He seemed to always be right and I really learned a lot from him. However as everyone else I had to make my own mistakes in life to understand what he was trying to tell me. When I was in the hospital for two months after a bad car accident he came to see me every single day. I will never forget that. I miss his smile, his laugh, his voice. He would help anyone that needed help. He had a big heart and a kind soul. We will all miss him terribly. One day we will all be together again. So, live your live to the fullest as Randy did and take each day as a new day to do great things. He never took anything for granted. God bless Randy Lange

As Al spoke this morning it was as if Randy was standing there beside him, both cheering him on and humbled by the outpouring of affection. To see the lives that he touched in that room was the greatest testament to one man’s legacy I have ever witnessed. Randy’s charisma was contagious and all of us that were lucky enough to know him will go the rest of our lives with a piece of his soul mixed with our own. To the family, Dale, Al, Cathy and Dayle, take comfort in your grief knowing that Randy’s spirit is still very much alive in all of us he touched. I have known Randy Lange for many years and had the pleasure of working with him before my retirement. I always found him to be fair and willing to help others.
I appreciate him being not only helpful to my son's career in the A/C business but a very good role model as a person and my son's good friend.

I never actually met Randy, but every time you've talked about him at the needlepoint shop you have had a kind of smile working as you tell us stories about the two of you. As an outsider it really comes across that you're in so much love and that the two of you have so much fun together! You are so lucky to have found each other and to have had such amazing times together. At the same time I'm sure it makes it that much harder to lose Randy. I am so sorry for the loss of your dear husband. May he be in "Hog" heaven!

Randy loved the outdoors and definitely lived large. Being a neighbor at Lake Livingston we would watch as he flew by in one of his two boats or his wave runners. He loved the water and being at the Lake. My two boys talked with Randy a few times and each told me they wanted to be an Entrepreneur like Randy and live life as he did. Randy will be missed by all. I met Randy Lange when I first began working with Trammell Crow Company in Houston 20 years ago. He helped so many of us realize success, friendship and the importance of integrity . I owe a debt of gratitude to Randy Lange for creating the company that taught me so much. I consider myself fortunate to have been an employee of Lange Mechanical for several years after I became a master electrician. I learned nearly all I know of commercial A/C systems and controls as well as Energy Management Systems and Building Automation as a direct result of the training I received while working there.

Twenty one years ago I met a man that gave me a chance in the a/c industry. As I sit here and reflect over the last Twenty one years, I realize that man gave me so much more. He gave me a sense of direction, he gave me the confidence to believe in myself and most of all he gave me the freindship that I will cherish forever. Jamie, I never had the pleasure of meeting you, but I feel like I’ve known you my whole life. Randy never hesitated to express his feelings for you, he thought you where an angle sent from heaven, his love for you was incredible.

While doing genealogy research, I could not help but noticing all of the entries in Mr. Lange's Guest Book.
What a guy! That he should have so many friends with so many wonderful and great things to say about him!
And the fact that he loved animals said a lot about him too.
Anytime this many people in a community miss someone this much, he was a very special person and well-loved and highly -respected indeed!
Such a loss to the community but such a wonderful addition to Heaven where people who are as truly blessed as Mr. Lange was always go!
May his dear family and many friends be comforted by the fact that they had the honor of knowing him!

I have known Randy for 10 Years and i will miss seeing his energetic spirit. Randy will be missed in everyones life and i know that he will be missed in mine.

I have just recently met Randy but even in that short time realized what a fine and dedicated man his family and friends had during his life here. He will be missed and we as a staff at Houston's First Baptist Church, specifically the Facilities Department, offer Randy's family, loved ones and friends prayers for peace and comfort as well as the assurance of eternal life through Jesus Christ during this time of great loss and sadness.
