Ray Robertson Obituary
Ray Robertson, Sr., 72, of Tehuacana passed away November 1, 2011 in Waco, Texas. Funeral services will be 10AM, Saturday, November 5, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Mexia with Bro. Howard Crenshaw and Bro. David Bolen officiating. Interment will be in Earthman Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Houston. Visitation with the family will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home in Mexia.
Ray was born February 2, 1939 in Picayune, Mississippi to Charlie Judson and Nina Irene Sledge Robertson. He was a machinist for 32 years. He was a member of Aldine Masonic Lodge #1412.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Billie LaNelle Robertson; grandchild, Edward Dillard; brother, Robbie Robertson; sisters, Sally Bostian and Martha Cooper; sister-in-laws, Patsy Carol Sims and Delores Robertson; brother-in-laws, Wendell Lakey, Ted Currier and Micky Powell; father-in-laws, Aubie Nash, Byron Taylor and William Hargrove; and mother-in-law, Naomi Hargrove.
Ray is survived by his wife, Delora; children, Naomi Irene Dillard (Eddie) of Ft. Worth, Aubrey Ray Robertson, Jr. (Bethany) of Houston, Ronald Wayne Robertson of Tehuacana and Donald James Robertson (Rose Mary) of Spring; grandchildren, Laura Patino (Alex), Edward Dillard, Matthew Monroe, Misty Diaz (Martin), Joshua, Jessica, Garrett and Hannah Robertson, Megan Gleich, Lacy Buschmann (Marshall), Tasha Kinard (Johnathan) and Jerrik Robertson; great-grandchildren, Alex Patino, Jr., Elaina and Elijah Patino, Leah Dillard, Star Brown, Brenna, Kobie and Mia Buschmann, Taylor Kinard, Cadence and Cory Gleich; siblings, Mary Fennell, Bob Robertson (Margarette), Ben Robertson (Pat), Jim Robertson, Eugene Robertson, Sarah Lakey, Nina Belle Stanley (Sonny), Dorothy Fennell (Bobby), Elna Garner, Sherrill Camp (Travis), A. D. Robertson (Karen), Ramona Rues (Robert), Margaret Williams (Bill) and Virgil Robertson (Rita); mother-in-law, Doris Taylor; brother-in-law, Lynn Nash (Debbie); sister-in-laws, Jackie Powell, Shirley Currier and Shirley Robertson.
Pallbearers will be Edward Dillard, Seth Bellamy, Jeffery Nash, Mike Sims, Alex Patino, Jacob Powell, Jerrik Robertson and John Kinard.

my cousin, Billie, I found him to be a kind and honorable man. He contacted me several years ago to obtain information about the
Hargrove family. We had a good visit by phone, & letters. He will
