Reba Stephens Obituary

Livingston- Funeral services for REBA JOY STEPHENS will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2002 at First United Methodist Church of Livingston, with Dr. Tom Kennedy officiating. Viewing will be at Pace Funeral Home of Livingston at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2002 and the family will be at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Livingston, Texas. Reba passed into God's loving arms on Monday evening, February 11, 2002 at 11:45 p.m. She left this world in the loving company of her immediate family with all the beautiful grace she lived her life. She was born November 25, 1930, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. A.G. Shaw of Sherman, Texas. Also preceding her in death was her son, A.G. Stephens on June 6, 1997 and her sisters, Lou Hayes and Ina Lummus. She married Al Stephens on April 28, 1951 and they celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary April 2001. Survivors include her husband Al Stephens; sons, Gene Stephens and wife Cile of Houston, Texas, Gary Stephens and wife Chelsea of Livingston, Texas; daughters-in-law, Sharon Stephens of Houston, Texas and daughter Cindy Bricker and husband Adam of California; 8 grandchildren, Samantha Stephens Roland, Michelle Stephens, Christine Stephens and Elisa Stephens of Houston , Texas Carissa Bricker, Travis Bicker, Cassie Amanda Bricker, Christa Abbey Bricker of California; also many special nieces and nephews. Reba brought jot to each person she met and she gave so much love to her family and friends. We all loved her so much and we know that she sits on the right hand of God in her new home in heaven. Pace Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
