Richard and I went to MPC as bio major students during the 1977-1980 time frame. We formed a very tight small study $ social group with Chris Gonzales (UOP Pharmacy), Carl Schumaker (UC Davis). Our group went cross country in Lake Tahoe once before we went our separate ways. Lots of pleasant memories. So sad to hear the passsing of my friend, Navy CAPTAIN Richard Cradle on the 2021 Veteran Day. As a former Army Medical Officer, I saluted and appreciated your military service. Rick, you were a good friend and I do miss those times that we studied together in the MPC library preparing for the Quantitative and Organic Chemistry classes. My dear friend Richard, Fair Winds and Following Seas.

I went to MPC with Rick. We competed for top grades in classes and we were part of a study group of which I have very fond memories. I am sorry to hear of his passing. I just learnt of this sad news and my condolences go out to his family. He was a high-caliber person that I had the honor of knowing for a moment in time. Sincerely, Barbara Michele Zollna

I am sorry to learn of Mr. Cadle's passing. Mr. Cadle was one of my preceptors in pharmacy school. I remember his passion for excellence, his enthusiasm, his encouragement and his dedication to serving those who depended on him. I know he will be missed by many and remembered fondly.

Rickie and I were born 10 days apart in far flung cities, but became playmates when the Cadles move up the street from my childhood home. We spent many days together, damn building in the creek below our houses, exploring the deep wilderness of Skyline Forest (often among the poison oak - itchy!), tackle football in the mud on the lawn at Monte Vista School, a short stint at movie production, and many other excursions with the gang in our Toyon Heights neighborhood.

Peace and comfort to all his family, especially Sylvie & Robbie who tagged along sometimes on our adventures.

My deepest sympathies to the Cadle family. I remember Ricky as a curious, intelligent little boy running around the neighborhood with my son, Luke. I see them in my garage making things for the Cub Scouts. That little boy grew up to be a loving husband, father and brother who was very accomplished in his career and who helped many. Rest in peace, dear Ricky, rest in peace.

With sympathy to all members of the Cadle family. Ricky teased Sylvie and me as all big brothers do, but I am sure we tormented him more! What a tribute to his life and career that the donations are for mentoring scholarships! With love, Leslie Fry Sonne, formerly of the Toyon Heights neighborhood, Monterey, CA.
