Robert Casey Obituary
Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Winifred (Connelly) Casey and siblings, William, Thomas, Mary Winifred Baker and Francis. Bob is survived by siblings John Casey, Patricia D'Entremont, Margaret Duff, Vincent Casey, Joseph Casey, and Elizabeth Scott.
Loving father of Mary Anne Marra (Patrick); Thomas P. Casey (Sharon); William A. Casey (Lindsay); Theresa Casey; Katherine Kelly; Robert A Casey, Jr, Ellen Taylor (Scott), Joseph Casey (Kristi).
Cherished grandfather of Michael, Patrick, Michael, Andrew, Maire, Kathleen, Evin, Sydney, Liam, Dominic, Samantha, Scott, Andrew Elizabeth, Caroline, Eileen Casey, Allison, Hailey, Evan, Kendall and Logan; and four great-grandchildren: Malachi, Brennan, Sophia and Elliot.
Bob graduated from Immaculate Conception HS, Montclair, NJ in 1947. After graduation, he entered the US Navy and proudly served aboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt, until 1949. Bob resided in Bloomfield, NJ before moving to Texas in 1977.
Bob was an active member of St. Ambrose Parish since 1978; he was a member of St. Ambrose St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Golden Youth, and Houston-Galveston Diocesan Senior Senate.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Ambrose Church or to the St. Ambrose St. Vincent de Paul Society, 4213 Mangum Rd, Houston, TX 77092.
Visitation: 6:00 PM, Rosary: 7:00 PM, Friday, August 24, 2012 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass: Saturday, August 25, 2012, 10:00 AM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079.
