Robert Allen Walker Jr.

ROBERT ALLEN WALKER, JR., 41, passed away on Wednesday, the 11th of July 2007. He was born in Houston, Texas on the 8th of February 1966. He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Richardson Walker and grandfather, Dr. J.B. Richardson both of Houston and uncle Johnny Walker of Lafayette, Louisiana. He is survived by his wife, Andrea and two daughters, Chelsea Alyse and Kirby Adair; his father, Robert A. Walker, Sr. and wife, Molly; grandmothers, Ann Richardson of Houston and Carolyn Loffer and husband, Bill of Tampa, Florida; sisters, Wendy Walker-Hebert and husband, Chris, and Robyn Walker; uncles and aunts, Ronald Richardson and wife, Patti; Randall Richardson and wife Patti; Wallace Walker and wife, Terri; along with one niece, Hailey Hebert, and two nephews, Jackson Hebert and Chase Mims; and other relatives and friends. Allen was a high school graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. He attended the University of Arkansas and graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Houston. Allen was the owner of A-1 Allstate Movers and Storage in Houston, Austin and Dallas. Allen will be remembered by family and friends for his loves of life which included spending time with family, crawfish boils, cook-outs, travels, and his daughters' many school activities and soccer club; as well as hunting, fishing and golfing with friends. Pallbearers include Chuck Armbruster, Darrell Been, Tom Davis, Bentley Fondren, Jeff Foster and Roger Sumicek. Honorary Pallbearers include Jeff Attwood, Will Cravens, Steve Kato, Chris Hebert and Wally Walker. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from four until six o'clock in the evening on Sunday, the 15th of July, 2007 at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive. Following graveside services at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery at ten o'clock in the morning on Monday, the 16th of July, a memorial service in celebration of Allen's life will be held at one o'clock in the afternoon at St. Francis Episcopal Church, 345 Piney Point Road with The Rev. Stuart A. Bates officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Episcopal School, 335 Piney Point Road, Houston, Texas 77024 or the Episcopal High School, 4060 Bissonnet St., Bellaire, TX 77401.
