All of our prayers are with the family. I worked with Roland on the Fraternal Corespondence Committee and the Knight Templar Education Committee. He could always be counted on to get the job done and enjoyed every minute of it.

I cannot tell you how very sad I am to learn of Roland's death. I managed the Senior Friends program for three years , until Sept of 2004. Roland attended many of our Lunch Bunches and special events. When I didn't see him for a while, I would send him a note or call him on the phone, just to let him know that we missed him. He will be sorely missed at Senior Friends.........

My sense of loss over the passing of a great man such as Roland cannot be expressed with mere words.
The written record will show that Roland was a Charter Member, Past Master and Golden Trowel recipient of Walter M. Pierson Lodge and it should also be noted that he was one its most important cornerstones.
I am proud that I had the opportunity to know and learn from a great man like Roland Maddox. I will remember him reverently all the days of my life.

I WISH TO EXPRESS MY SYMPTHY TO YOU IN THE LOSS OF SO GREAT AND GOOD A MAN AS ROLAND WAS. OUR RELATIONSHIP GO BACK TO1950 WHEN HE WOULD COME TO GRAY LODGE #329. WE HAD MANY HAPPY FRATERNAL VISITS OVER THE YEARS. I MET HIM AGAIN WHILE HE WAS WORKING @ THE PIZZA HOUSE IN BACLIFF.
