Ronald Brewer Obituary

RONALD E. BREWER, was joyfully received into heaven on July 28, 2007, by his parents, Earnest and Jane Brewer, his brother, Donald Brewer, and a host of family and friends. He is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Lisa; his children, Sigrid and Zachary; his son-in-law, Jeff Vale; his granddaughters, Halden and Kayla; his step-mother, Fay Brewer; and Matthew Rios. Ron epitomized the entrepreneurial spirit and cared deeply for those with whom he worked. He loved Aggie football, riding motorcycles, watching horse races, reading, and his three dogs. Ron became ill and ultimately died as a result of Coccidioidomycosis, a type of fungal meningitis. The family wishes to thank the wonderful doctors who have given so much time and dedication to the care of Ron and his family: Doctors' Goss, O'Mahoney, Noon, Torre, Weinert, Samo, Agrawl, Gonzales, Lai, and Yen, and all of the other incredible physicians, assistants, nurses, and medical staff, who provided care for Ron in the past months. We are forever grateful for the kindness and support extended to us by everyone at Methodist Hospital. Visitation: Tuesday, July 31, 2007, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Earthman Southwest Chapel, 12555 South Kirkwood, Stafford. Funeral Service: Wednesday, August 1, 2007, 2:00 PM, St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 717 Sage Road, Houston, with The Rev. Dr. John K. Graham, officiating. Special music will precede the service beginning at 1:30 PM. Interment: Morton Cemetery, Richmond, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Life Gift Organ Donation Center at 800-633-6562, or at www.lifegift.org.

One tree stands

By the bank of the river
Watching waves pass by calmly-
A calendar of time.

And one tree stands
Listening to winds of hope
And catching its comfort
In countless leaves.

And one tree stands
Blossoming outward, growing
Upon soil of rich memories
And undying hope.

And one tree stands
Branching out lovingly, softly
Speaking gently forever.

And one tree stands.
Swaying in the presence of
Unaltered love, and singing through rough storms.

And one tree stands
A rooted foundation built upon faith
Bringing undying treasures to all.

Dearest Lisa and family,

Maureen and I would like to express our sincere and loving wishes for the pain that is hurting your heart right now. Having lost my wife of 22 yrs in 2005 I can fully appreciate and feel the depth of your loss and devastation right now. The most important part of this that you will come to understand is that Jesus knew that Ron could no longer take the pain and brought him into his loving arms to the paradise he has promised us all.

Maureen and I will keep you all in our hearts and prayers and after writting this we will pray together for all of you. You will feel God's hand on your heart in many different ways in the days and weeks to come. Ron is with you now and forever to watch over you in your Dailey lives and is out of pain.

God Bless you and console your hearts and minds.

In God's unfailing Love,

Steve and Maureen
