Ruby Nell Bell Gradney was born on September 12, 1936 in Raywood, Texas. She was a 1955 graduate of Woodson High School and a lifelong resident of Houston, Texas.
Ruby was called home to the Lord on May 6, 2015 and leaves to cherish her memory, her two loving sons and their spouses, Vincent and Valerie Gradney of Missouri City, Texas, and Damian Gradney and wife Tina Irvin of Houston; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two sisters Wilda LeBlanc of Houston, Texas and Theresa Fontenot Metoyer of Raywood, Texas; a devoted nephew Todd Fontenot of Raywood, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
Celebration of her home going will be Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Visitation will begin at 8:00 am with the Rosary recited at 9:15am and the funeral mass at 10:00am all services will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1401 Fidelity St., Houston, TX 77029. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Raywood, Texas under the direction of Troy B. Smith Professional Services.
