I went to work at Foleys July of 1976 when our family moved to Houston. I was assigned to the Silver Department and was put under the tutilage of Ms. Mason. Never had I met such a wonderful, caring person. I knew she loved her work and her customers. She made coming to work every day a privelidge. I learned so much from her, and I know that the level of customer service she gave, inspired me to be as much like her as I could. When I got engaged to me married, she really took me as her special project, and made the whole happy experience even more wonderful. When she finally retired, I knew that no one could take her place. Many of the executives at Foley's started out their career working for her. It gave her the "giggles" sometimes when she would see the newest executives walking the store; knowing that she helped him get to where he was. I have often thought of Ms. Mason after she retired and knew that she was happy spending time with her family, as they were always formost in her heart. We would talk ( or should I say I listened) many hours as she spoke lovingly of her family. She made me feel as though I was a part of her life and she has enriched mine. I Love You Ms. Mason- The Angels will not be lonely!
