Sandra Justice Obituary
03/02/1936 - 12/25/2025
Sandra Dunnam Justice died peacefully on Christmas morning at the age of 89.
Sandy is survived by her beloved husband, John Ellis Justice; daughters Jennifer Bowen and Amanda Robertson; son-in-law Grant Robertson; grandchildren Bo Bowen, Ellis Bowen, Justice Robertson, and Lina Robertson; sister Diana Hill; sister-in-law Martha Martin; and her niece and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Dudley Dunnam and Maunie Frost Dunnam; son-in-law, Ray Bowen; and brothers-in-law John Hill and William Martin.
A more detailed obituary will be published in Sunday's edition.
A celebration of Sandy's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 5th at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 717 Sage Rd. in Houston. Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family at a reception in Bagby Parish Hall.
A private graveside service at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery will precede the church service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sandy's memory may be directed to MD Anderson Cancer Center, the River Oaks Garden Club Forum of Civics Foundation, the Houston SPCA, or a charity of your choice.

I am heartbroken to hear about Sandy's passing. I so loved her and her generous and caring spirit when I lived at The Tradition and onward after I moved. We kept in touch and I adored her!

Sandy´s family was well known by mine through decades beginning with her Grandfather General Manager of the Foster Lumber Company Mill in Fostoria Texas. Her father was a pre-eminent O&G Lawyer who ushered the sale of Foster Lumber Company and creation of Foster Minerals LPfor which Mr. Dunham was the General Partner. Had many dinner conversation with her husband, John about how the price of oil could be determined cheap or expensive ... Sandy was a good cook by my reconing in the late 1970s - early 1980s. Lost track of the Justices when I moved back to California. Hope to see the Dunnam-Justice Family at the service on!onday. Lots of love with my condolences.
