Sherrie Viola Ashburn
1940-2021
Sherrie Viola Ashburn, loving wife, mother, aunt and friend passed away on September 2nd, 2021.
Sherrie was born to Sadie and Gordon Lee Vincent in Houston, Texas on April 16th, 1940. She grew up and lived in Houston her entire life and was a huge animal advocate and lover. She is proceeded in death by her husband, David and grand dog Boudreaux. She is survived by her son David, grand dogs Boo, Ricky and Ringo and family members Sherrie and Roy Koimn and family, Paul and Joyce Echols and family, Roland and Janice Henderson, and Laura and David Trevino and family.
Her memorial service will take place on October 29th, 2021 at 11:00am at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Houston SPCA, Southern Comforts Animal Rescue or any animal charity of your choosing.
