My prayers and heartfelt sympathy go to Shirley's family. Shirley will be truly missed. She always had a smile on her face, during all that was going on this past year. What little time I knew Shirley, I feel that God blessed me for knowing such a wonderful caring person.

I would say the Lord has answered our requests for healing..because now she is totally healed. We had hoped it would have been granted differently..I will miss her sorely. During this time, and especially the past couple of weeks, I have done alot of reflecting on how short life can be and how we need to be walking with the Lord. The Lord is always with us...but are we always with Him? I will always be amazed at her courageous fight for life..I am blessed and forever changed for having known her.

Shirley was a team player at Continental Airlines. She greeted her team members & fellow coworkers with a big smile and such a beautiful attitude. Shirley was always a cheerful person! She was known for her beauty and her personality. We knew Shirley would be looking pretty everyday with her makeup and that red lipstick. Shirley was loved by all of her coworkers. We loved Shirley but God loves her best! Our prayers are that the family hold to those cherishful memories and look to God for strength and peace.
Love,
Maxine & The Team 64 Coworkers

Shirley was a very constant friend to me, most especially when my husband, Charlie, also a long-time Continental Airlines employee, was very ill in Feb. 2000. I am grieved by the loss of such a good and caring human being. Shirley and I also dreamed of cruising the ocean together but our dreams were tragically shortened. She will be sorely missed by both Charlie and I. God blessed Shirley and her family with courage and strength through this tremendous ordeal which befell her. May you rest in peace, Shirley and know that you will not be forgotten.
