Steve was always a breath of fresh air, his positivity and gentle way of interacting with people was always something I admired. Knew him for 35 plus years and never remember him not having a smile on his face or bringing a smile to someone else. God Bless him and his family.

It was always a great time with many fond memories when the Mitchell clan would get together! Steve and I were just a year apart and yes he had an amazing smile which made all those around him feel special. I was sad to hear about his passing. My sincere condolences for the families loss

What a beautiful tribute to Steve. I have the best memories of his quick smile and wit and feel so fortunate to have been his neighbor and raising our children together. I hope each of you gather comfort in knowing our Lord now holds him in His arms - I know he will be deeply missed. Linda Chandler

I loved this man for many years. He was more than a friend or a neighbor; he was family. We will miss Steve, but we will see him again in Heaven. God promised.

Steve you were such a force of joy. When you entered a room you brought that big smile and even bigger laughter. We will miss you immensely! I love you Uncle Steve
