We feel genuinely blessed to have been Steve's grateful dental patients since 1975. He was gentle, kind and extremely proficient and exacting with his dental skills. We appreciated and trusted his professional advice.
Thank You Steve for all you did for us. You are definitely part of of our family history.

I started seeing Dr. Benson around 1973 and all through the years he took excellent care of my dental needs. Then as time went on an life changed we would talk about more personal things and instead of just being the dentist he gradually became a friend.

We are so grateful for our many memories of Steve. His friendship has always been very important to me and my family. We value his kindness, understanding and humor. Most of all, we have great respect for this good and decent self-made man whose life was an inspiration and example of how to love family, keep friends, work hard, play hard and succeed in this life on Earth. Rest in peace, Steve. You will always be loved and remembered.

Steve and Julie Benson and I were best friends in high school. I spend many hours with them and their family Steve and I graduated from South Houston High School (not Pasadena High) in 1960. Julie followed us two years later. Steve was a really great guy with a positive and happy outlook on life. I was blessed to spend part of his life with him. He is now in the hands of Lord, and at peace.

An inspiration for me. I was doing labwork for him in dental school and kept in touch for years. His passion for excellence was inspiring.

My father returned to his Catholic beginnings and acknowledged the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. As such, in his final days, he faced eternity with peace and confidence. Throughout my life, dad asked questions about God, Jesus, and the Bible, and thus caused me to search for answers and strengthen my faith. I will forever be grateful for my dad's inquisitive and analytical mind. I praise God that his mind was razor sharp until the end. I asked dad what he would ask Jesus when he finally met Him. Dad said Jesus would tell him whatever he needed to know, and that it was going to be a place he couldn't even fathom. Amen! Due to circumstances, I was 2400 miles away and unable to be by his side, but our Sovereign Lord still joined us together because, at the time of his passing, the Lord prompted me to pray for him. Now, I turn my prayers to all those who knew him and loved him. May you also know our Savior, His peace, and find answers to your questions in His Word.
Of course, a memorable picture is when dad gave me away to my husband. However, dad's mind, with all his questions, also helped join me to the Church, as a bride of Christ, much earlier than this picture.
Finally, I can't speak about dad without appreciating his care of my teeth, and directing all who read this to the intellectual passion of his retirement, the Mises Institute (mises.org).
