Teresa Johnson Obituary

TERESA ALYSS JOHNSON of Fulshear, born 6/5/98, died at the age of 7 early Saturday morning 3/25/06, in her sleep. A 1st grader at Huggins Elementary School in Fulshear, Teresa loved all her teachers and was loved by them. Teresa was a really feminine girl, who loved to make up stories where her animal toys came alive. She loved to read and be read to, and worked very hard in school. Happy by nature, quick to smile, she captured our hearts in her brief time on earth. She is survived by her parents Mark Johnson and Anna Apanel of Fulshear, and grandparents Richard H. and Alice Johnson of Dallas. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents Bernard and Laura Apanel. Memorial contributions may be made to Huggins Elementary School, #1 Huggins Dr., Fulshear, Texas 77441. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 29, 2006 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Knesek & Sons Funeral Home in Wallis with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 30, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. from Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Wallis. Dear Anna and Mark--

I am so terribly sorry to hear of your incredible loss. Teresa was such a ray of sunshine with her bubbly personality and endless energy. She is looking down on you and watching out for you both while wearing her favorite tiara. Remember that you both have many friends out there who are thinking of you and care about you all.My thoughts are with you.

My prayers are with your family during this difficult time. Losing a child is so much harder than losing a parent, but the one thing that comforted me when I lost my mom is God has a plan and just believe in that. My deepest condolences to everyone touched by Teresa.

Anna and Mark,

The time together is never enough, especially with one's own child, but know that God lends strength through His love and concern. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers, because both of you are good friends, good people and great parents.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding"(Proverbs 3:5). This is the scripture that carried me through my own grief over the loss of my 10 year old daughter four years ago. I give it to you now as a life line to ease your pain when the questions come more frequent than the peace of God.

Be encouraged, God has not forgotten you or your pain and He will send the perfect people along to remind you that He loves you and still cares for you.

You and your family remain in my prayers.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Dickey, AP,
