Pam and Family:

I just learned of the passing of Todd and I am stunned. I remember Todd from very early days (middle school) and of course you from elementary school. I am greatly saddened for your loss. No words can express that feeling so I won't even try. Just know that you and your children will be in our prayers and may the peace that passes undertanding find you and provide comfort. I remember so much about Todd, how sweet he always was to everyone and that incredible smile of his.......wow..... May you gain strength each and every day and find comfort in all the beautiful memories I am sure were shared together. Take care!

Dear Pam,
Our continued prayers and thoughts are with you and your blessed children and will always be. Cheryl and I were definitely taken back when we heard the difficult news. Our high school memories flood our minds as we re-live the days back when we all were together there in Pearland. I'm truly thankful that we had the opportunity to see you and Todd last summer on one of our visit's back to Texas. I'm thankful to God for your freindship and your support to our family in difficult times. It's funny how God brings people together because He knows that we will need each other to lean on. I know you will have support from my sister, but also know you will have support from Cheryl and I as well.
Todd's life is definitely something to celebrate from the boy he was in school to the honorable man that he became. A true husband, father, son and friend to all. I have no doubt that Jesus has said these words to Todd; "Well done my good and faithful servant!"
We love you all!

Pam, the first time that I saw you and Todd was in the metro in London in 2001. Even though the city is big we always bumped into eachother and from that moment started a nice friendship. One year later I visited you and Todd in Texas and you welcomed me like a princess. From the first moment that I saw you two I felt that you were made for eachother. Todd was a handsome, nice and loving man that loved his wife so much, he took care of his lovely family and without saying goodbye God took him away. But I know for sure that this loving husband, father, son and friend, wherever he will be, he will take care of his family forever and you will always be in his heart. We will miss him but not forget him. Whenever you feel the need for some belgian support I will always be there for you.

Dear Pam:

I only heard about Todd's passing today. I am truly sorry for your loss. I am sure he was an amazing husband, brother, father, son, etc.

Unfortunately I can empathize with how you are feeling right now, as I lost my first wife unexpectedly in 2002. Please stay strong and keep your family close by -- they will be your rock.

I am so very sorry for your loss.

Pam,
I was actually brought to tears when my sister told me of the sad news. I know we have not spoken in probably 20 years. The last time we spoke you and Todd had just ordered and ottoman for the home you two bought from his parents and Todd was mocking the "girl" talk we were having about nesting into your home. I still remember leaving your driveway and even as young as I was then, maybe 18 or so, I thought you two were the ideal couple. High school sweethearts who truly had an everlasting love. I still remember how Todd looked at you at your wedding and for a young girl, it truly seemed fairytale like. I am heartbroken for you that you and Todd did not have the 150 years that you truly would have filled with happiness. But I hope you take comfort in knowing that the entire outside world could see that the two of you have had more love and pure happiness than some who have 75 years together. I will be thinking of you and your family for quite awhile. I have not stopped thinking about you since I heard the news this morning. I can not imagine how you must be feeling but I know that you are still feeling Todd's love and adoration... it is a timeless thing that even as a young boy he knew his life was to become a man in the course of loveing you. Becoming your husband and a father with you was knowing that he did live a rare and special life, afterall few men can say they truly had all their hearts desires met is such a special and tight circle. God bless your family. If you ever feel like hearing some of the funny memories I have just reach out... My warmest regards. Athena (Smith) Silver (PHS class of 86).

Dear Pam and Family,
There are no words that can express my feelings over Todd's loss. I often find my mind wandering back to simpler times and joyous occasions that Todd and I were fortunate to have. Those memories will remain with me forever and somehow comfort me.
I hope the memories that you have will work in the same way. To somehow fill the deep sense of loss and heal the heartbreak that you are feeling.
Pam, Todd loved you so much. He was honored to call you his wife. You were always "The One". He was proud of all your accomplishments, both professionally, personally and as a couple. You were always in his heart and on his mind. His love and devotion to you will always remain. I'm sure he is already hard at work preparing a glorious place for you and he to share, when you are one day reunited.
Kelsey and Blake, your father loved you both very much. He took great pride and joy in being a father. I'm sure he gazing down upon you with that wonderful smile of his.
Todd was a great man and the best of friends. I am a better person for knowing him. I will look back with great joy of the years that we shared. So my dear, dear friend, I hope you are looking down on all of us that loved you and smiling. Although your time was short, it was full of zest and one heck of a party.
My heartfelt thanks goes out to all that were involved in putting together such a beautiful memorial service and supporting Pam in the most difficult of times.

Pam:
Please know that my family, (as well as my brother, Gary, and his wife, Annalyse) were, and are still in complete disbelief. I am truly and deeply sorry that this has happened to you and your beautiful family. I wish there was something I could say that would help make sense of it all, unfortunately, I know there is nothing that could or ever will make sense of this. I can say to you that we are, and will continue to pray for you and your family and ask the Lord to help mend your hearts now and in the days come. God Bless All of You.

Pam-I have thought about little else this week, trying to grasp what you & your family are dealing with. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of having you as a friend, as well as being honored to work alongside you as a fellow RN. It is extremely difficult to accept the untimely loss of someone who has meant so much to so many. Your inner strength and faith in God will help comfort you. Please know that you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Love & God bless!

WOW ...I was just told today of this website and about all of the wonderful comment and condolences that have been given to my family and me. I am in awe. I have read and will keep reading all of the wonderful things that you all have sent and said for us. I have felt such strength of love and support from everyone that has helped us all through this terrible time. I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you from all of us. We are ALL very appreciative of your love and support. So many of you made it to the funeral from all parts of the city and country... For those of you that could not make it... It was absolutely beautiful. The room was FULL of family, friends, flowers, plants and love for us and for Todd. I thank you all. With the help from my family and friends especially Susan, Tacy, Luanne, Tammy and so many others... Phil Peevey, his team from Niday Funeral Home, and Rev. Bill Cole from Sagemont Church, they all did an outstanding job of making it an uplifting sentiment to Todd. Following the service, Selena and her many friends helped provided a wonderful haven for us to celebrate Todd's life. I wanted to express my thanks to all of them and you for that. I am forever indebted to you all.
Keep us in your prayers,

Pam, I just heard today. I still can't believe it's true. I have known Todd forever, it seems, since kindergarten at First Baptist and then on into junior high and high school. He and Bruce could always make me laugh in Mr. Reed's 8th grade class. I have such fun memories of that year in 8th grade with the two of them. Doug and I will keep you and the kids and your families in our prayers. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.
