I remember the first day you called me. You had your major surgery! Doyle introduced us. We talked for weeks while you were recovering. Then we actual met by coincidence at a business meeting about 10 years later. You were always happy...this makes me very sad you passed ... I will always have you in my heart! Just noticed we both graduated from Sam!

Steph - I am so sorry to learn of the death of your Dad. He always had a big smile for us when we would drop Rachel off or pick her up.

I met Smitty in the late 70's at a telephone answering service convention. He was so willing to share his knowledge with me and I still use many of his ideas to this day. I am so sad to hear of his death. The world is a better place because he was here. Lynn Martin - South Carolina

Tom, I can't believe you have left us! Such a fun loving guy! You always had an encouraging word for everyone you met. We worked together at Stewart & Stevenson for several years and I remember your participation in all of the Rodeo cook-off's, S&S Employee club events, your lively conversations with Jimmy Stewart and that constant and infectious smile. But your true love was your beautiful daughter. I remember how you so fondly spoke of her and how your eyes would light up when someone asked you about her. The last time I saw you was at our friend Chuck Kubena's funeral. Life is so short - - - your will be missed by all.

Just found out, too late to offer my condolences in person. So sorry to lose Smitty - way too soon. Always a warm friendly greeting, he never stopped caring about people he knew, no matter how long between visits. Great person! My best to all the family, and especially Donna Lynn. To Tom's FAmily,

So sorry to hear about Tom. Spoke to him last at Mr. Manning's memorial service. Conversations with Tom were always positive in nature. He was a classic S&S legacy guy! Great personality with a smile for everyone. Thank you for sharing Tom with all of us. We're better people for having known him. God bless you!

Donna Lynn, what a fun, kind person he was when we were all growing up together. He was special.
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
Live simply, Love generously,
Care deeply, Speak kindly...
Leave the rest to God.
Quote from Pastor Emerson Bolton
