Tommy Dickerson Obituary

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 11 a.m. in McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Tommy Leroy Dickerson, 82, of Picayune who passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 in Picayune.Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the directions of McDonald Funeral Home.The Rev. Wayne Rice will officiate at the service.A native of Camp Rowland, Miss., he was a Machinist and a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge.He was preceded in death by: his parents, Arthur Eugene Dickerson and Birdie Jewel Armstrong Dickerson; his wife, Mary Ann Stockstill Dickerson; his brothers, Carroll Dickerson, Arthur (Noody) Dickerson, Wallace Dickerson, Vernon Dickerson, and Archie Dickerson; and his sisters, Beatrice Breland, Hazel McComb, Louella Koch, and Blanche Jones.Survivors include: his children, Jimmy Dickerson of Picayune, Gregory Dickerson of Poplarville, Karen Mooney of Picayune, and Rebecca Famularo of Picayune; his sisters, Madge Jones, Sally O’Quinn and Ernestine Harvey; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.Visitation will be Wednesday, November 5, 2008 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.Obituary, register book, and driving directions can be found on the internet page, www.mcdonaldfh.com.
