TONY DIBELLO Jr.

TONY DIBELLO, JR. passed away on March 20, 2010. He was born Madisonville, TX Aug. 27, 1932 to Lucile and Tony Dibello, Sr. Tony grew up in Houston and graduated from Stephen F. Austin Senior High School in 1951. He married Joy Edwards Dibello in 1952. After serving his country in the Korean Conflict from 1953-54, he continued his work as a railroad telegrapher and later as a dispatcher until his retirement in 1992. Railroading and an interest in railroad history were an integral part of his life. With his sons and friends he rebuilt and restored trophy-winning BSA and Harley motorcycles. Tony's outgoing and friendly personality led to the formation of many lasting friendships, but above all else Tony loved and valued his family and took much pride in the growth and success of his children and grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved son Jimmy, and his sister Frances Wasicek. Tony is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joy Dibello; daughter Cathy Dibello of Carlisle, PA; sons David and wife Cheryl of Dickinson TX; Gary, wife Valerie and children Jamie and Jacob of Sherman, TX; Dale, wife Jaime and children Robert and Lane of New Braunfels, TX; sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Joe Dean of Houston, TX; brother-in-law Leonard Wasicek and children Dennis and Theresa and husband, Mark Crutchfield, and their son Brian, all of Kingwood, TX; and numerous other loved ones.Visitation will be held at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m with a Funeral Service starting at 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Forest Park Lawndale on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.
