WALTER P. FLANAGAN, 78, of Houston, Texas, passed away July 25, 2007. He was born on October 4, 1928. After graduating from the University of Houston he pursued an acting career in New York. He was a member of the Screen Actors Guild and performed in 48 states up until 2002. To begin his retirement he returned to Houston. He leaves close relatives and friends to cherish his memories. Whether it was one person or a houseful, he would captivate any audience with his stories and jokes. He will surely be missed for his quick wit, good humor, and the laughs he shared with all. Walter is survived by many first, second, and third cousins. To some he was as close as a brother and to others he was embraced as "Uncle Sonny".
