Mr. Bill

March 30, 2025

Back in the early 70's when I was a young man just getting my family life started, but had no credit, Mr. Gibbs took a chance on me. I borrowed $100.00 from the Guardian Bank, and paid back the loan at $10 a month, I guess he saw something in me, I couldn't see myself, and took a chance, as I'm sure he did with many others. He was always a very nice and kind man, one of integrity, and believed in people. I also remember Jim Fralick "not sure of the last name spelling" Jim, was also a good man. Mr. Gibbs will be missed by many.

We have lost a precious natural resource. Paris Gibbs left this world a better place for his presence. Here was a case study in how to live a meaningful Christian life. Wise, warm and caring, he was a consummate gentleman. Though he will be profoundly missed, Paris will assuredly live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Godspeed dear friend.
