My heart was broken to read about Bill's passing. I had not seen him for many years but he had a huge impact on my adult life. When I lived in Houston, he gave me my first real job when I had no measurable skills and I will never forget him for it. I know how much he loved Janie and the kids and he was certainly a good friend to me. I'm truly sorry I wasn't in Houston to share my condolences in person. My heart is with you all. Sincerely and warmly, Sherry Solomon

Bill Fogarty was a fabulous businessman and advertising visionary and a man of incredible integrity and high morals. Bill and Rich Klein and Steven Rogers were critical to our early success at Drypers in the late 80's and early 90's, and I continued to meet with Bill for years beyond that about brands I was working on or concepts I was involved with building. I treasured his friendship, and long after he "slowed down his business schedule," I could still count on him picking up the phone or answering an email quickly when I called. A tragic loss but a great life.

Bill Fogarty was a very pleasant guy to do business with , which i did as client and contractor. Generous too. And funny. The memory of he and Rich taking on camera roles as enthusiastic pro candidate street demonstrators in a John Hill For Governor TV ad still cracks me up 47 years later.
