My deepest symphany to the sisters and brothers!!! I just can't believe. I found this is out to late, to come to the service. Reading the below messages, You were all right about Billy. I loved this family and known them a long time, since 68. I kept my horses on Carson Rd and Billy was a little boy then and so cute and funny. Had plenty of great laughs and good times riding in Houston fields that is now sub-divisions. I was closest to Dubby and Billy, now they are both gone but not forgotten. I had kept in contact w/Billy since Dub passed, which was a shock too.

May God Bless you and Comfort you knowing he is w/your parents and Dub!! We will see him again!!

Hi, Billy. I attended your memorial service today. As I'm sure you know, it was wonderful. I went expecting to cry a river of tears, but it wasn't that kind of service at all. It was truly a celebration of your life. I must admit, when your brothers walked onto the stage (especially Bobby) I gasped. He looks so much like you. We were entertained by stories of your childhood by both your brother Jim, as your older brother, and Bobby, as your younger brother. We laughed at those stories. I especially liked the one where you lassoed your mother and tied her to a tree. He said no one but you could have ever gotten away with that, and I believe him. Sage was there, too. Right there in Bass Hall. LOL. I pet him and hugged his neck. He didn't seem to mind. So many of us will miss you, Billy. I'm sure you are with your parents and your brother now, and other friends of yours that passed before you. You probably wouldn't come back here even if you could, so, I'll just say goodbye to you now. I hope to see you again, someday. I love ya.

We will miss him greatly. You all will be in our prayers for a long time. May God comfort you through this time of lose. I will always charish the deep sea fishing trips we went on off the Port Aransas Island. I thank God for allowing me to share a small part of Billy's life. My deepest sympathy to all the Pier family. I fondly remember working with Norris and the boys, especially Billy's smile and great attitude every day. Was able to touch base with him a few times over the last 20 years, actually tried to hire him back to Houston a few years ago, but his work and life in Ft. Worth was what he loved. We had few laughs over some of the old times at Southland and Sirron. I am trying to live up to the memory of Norris as I am now working as a Senior Estimator at Tellepsen Builders. I still run across a few "old guys" who remember Norris as one of the best estimators in the business. No doubt, Billy is with Norris and they're going over the next project to build behind those pearly gates. May God be with you all.

Billy,

How are we suppose to work without you? You gave us direction, trust and memories that will never be forgotten. Thank you for being a great mentor and friend.

We were so shocked to learn of Billy's passing when we returned home from the holidays and read the paper. Although we hadn't seen him for a few years, it seems like only yesterday that we were in high school and running around from Houston to Pearland to Wimberley. Those sure were good times. The loss of Billy saddens us very much. With deepest sympathy to his family.
