Donald Krizek Obituary
Donald G. Krizek, age 57, of 7108 Sandy Hill Lane, Two Rivers, died Monday morning, April 29, 2013, at home, surrounded by his family.
Donald was born on August 17, 1955, in Two Rivers, son of the late Frank and Louella (Shoulak) Krizek, Jr. Donny graduated from Washington High School with the class of 1974. He was employed as a welder at Hamiltons for 38 years and most recently with Miller-St. Nazianz. Donny was an avid Wisconsin sports fan, enjoyed playing softball and many other recreational activities. Donny took great pride in maintaining a beautifully landscaped yard and cooking delicious meals for his family.
Survivors include his fiancé': Dee Dee Dirkmann, Two Rivers; his daughter: Holly Krizek and boyfriend, Dave Adams, Madison; his son: Mike Krizek and girlfriend, Erin Lamal, Two Rivers; and his sister: Sande (Luke Belden) Krizek, New London. He is further survived by a special uncle and aunt: Larry and Kathy Shoulak; Dee Dee's parents: Ed Dirkmann, Mishicot and Jolene (Mike) Diedrich, Florida; Hilde Laduron; Shane Salentine; along with aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother: Mark Krizek; Dee Dee's sister: Dawn Dirkmann; his grandparents: Emil and Lorraine Shoulak, who raised Don and Sande, and Frank and Emma Krizek ; cousin: Shawn Shoulak and Dick Laduron.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013, at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Tom Reynebeau with private family committal services to be held at a later date.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, May 2, 2013, from 4 until 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
Donny's family extends a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Aurora Medical Center and especially to the nurses and chaplain of the Aurora VNA Hospice for the compassion and care given to Donny and his family.
Donny was a social butterfly who had a great sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Don, had a unique gift of being able to put a smile on the face of everyone he came in contact with. I was fortunate to see Don in his short time left here, he still had a smile to greet us. You couldn't ask for a better guy to be your high school boyfriend! Great and friendly guy, handsome and nice, an amazing athlete at Washington High School, excelling in football, basketball and track and loving it all as well as his Green Bay Packers.
