Rusboldt, Florence A.

Florence A. Rusboldt, age 90, a Manitowoc resident passed away on Friday evening, July 8, 2016 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc.

She was born on July 12, 1925 in Maribel, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Wencil and Mary (Trochil) Skwor. On February 9, 1946, Florence married Frederick Rusboldt at St. Boniface Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on January 2, 1997. They spent their married life in Manitowoc where she had worked as a clerk at Kroger's Food Store and Stangel's Food Store, both of Manitowoc. She was a member of the Manitowoc Senior Center and St. Boniface Church.

Survivors include three children and their spouses: Wayne (K.C.) Rusboldt, Gilbert, Arizona, Mark (Barbara) Rusboldt, Manitowoc, and Patrice (Scott) Swakow, Arlington Heights, Illinois; six grandchildren: Craig Rusboldt, Brad (Michelle) Rusboldt, Brandon (Lauren) Rusboldt, Jessica (Ben) Ilhardt, Haley Tadych, and Mark Swakow; and a special niece: Elaine (Victor) Naidl, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

She is further preceded in death by brothers, sisters and in-laws: William (Vi) Trochil, Theo (Marcella) Skwor, Harvey (Rose) Skwor, Edward Skwor, Blanche Maresh, and Evelyn (Eddie) Suchomel; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Arnold (Bette) Rusboldt, James (Donna) Rusboldt, and Mary Jeanne Gadzinski; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law: Rose and Walter Rusboldt.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, July 14, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, 1416 Grand Avenue, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Beaudry. Entombment will follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, the corner of Highways 310 and B in the Town of Kossuth.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc with a prayer service to take place at 7:00 p.m officiated by Rev. Dave Pleier. Visitation will continue on Thursday morning, July 14, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand.
