Marian Osieczanek Obituary

Osieczanek, Marian Sieracki

On August 10, 2017, a shining light left this world as Marian Osieczanek passed away in Denver, Colorado, which was her home since 1966. She was the daughter of Victoria and Felix Sieracki and was raised in Manitowoc. Marian is survived by her sons Craig (Rose), Curt (Carole), Chris, & Carey (Kim), and daughters, Cindi and Cehri (Kent Key), ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren with a third due to arrive by early September. Her husband, Archie Osieczanek, whom she met at St. Mary's Catholic School in the third grade & was married to for over 54 years passed, away in 2005. A brother, Eugene Sieracki, was killed in the Pacific aboard a Manitowoc built submarine, the USS Golet in 1944, and a sister, Janie Lachowicz passed away in 2015 as well as her in-laws and many other family and friends. Marian is survived by brothers Florian of Waupun,WI, Lee of DeKalb, Texas, and a sister LuAnn Haupt of Manitowoc.

Marian graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School, class of 1944. During World War II, she moved to Washington D.C. and worked for the FBI. In 1966, Marian, Archie and their kids relocated to Englewood, Colorado. While her children were young, she was an extremely busy, loving housewife & mother. In 1976, she took part time employment with the Sheridan School District until her retirement in 1991.

Marian was a devout Catholic, especially loving the Blessed Mother, went to daily Mass, and said the Rosary often. Her greatest attribute was her consideration of others. She loved to write poetry, letters, was an excellent cook & baker, and lived to socialize & be surrounded by those she loved & adored. Her family was her proudest achievement. She is loved greatly and will be dearly missed.

My sweet Marian .... you were always such a special lady to me. I often asked Shane how you were doing. This world won't be the same without you but Heaven is certainly much brighter now. God Bless. ^i^

Dear Craig,

I always wondered where you disappeared to! I remember being a classmate of yours at Benjamin Franklin Elementary School in Manitowoc.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your mother.

God bless,
Andrea (Andi) Hutchison Beschta
