Zelinski, William (Peachy)

William "Peachy" Zelinski, age 82, a Two Rivers resident, passed peacefully Tuesday morning, February 3, 2015 at Northridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.

Peachy was born February 8, 1932 in Two Rivers, son of the late Leonard and Sophie (Sokolowski) Zelinski. He graduated from Two Rivers Washington High School with the class of 1950. He then served in the U.S. Army from 1952 - 1954 in Korea. On July 2, 1955 he married the former Marcia Weiss at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. She passed away on January 17, 1958. He then married Polly Koeser on May 30, 1959 in Manitowoc. Peachy loved sports, fishing, golfing and spending time at the cottage. He also was a fantastic cook. Peachy was employed in radio sales with WCUB radio, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the VFW Post #1248, Two Rivers.

Survivors include his wife Polly, Two Rivers; two daughters and sons-in-law: Faye & Brian Rezachek, Two Rivers; Susan & Rick Smith, Manitowoc; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Robert & Rebecca Zelinski, Charlotte, N.C.; William Zelinski, Two Rivers; three granddaughters: Eleanor, Emma and Ava Zelinski; one brother and sister-in-law: Norbert & Eunice Zelinski, Manitowoc; three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Gordon & Grace Koeser, Rockford, IL; Ross Koeser, Poolesville, MD; Carol Koeser, Two Rivers; Michael Berger, Manitowoc. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Peachy was preceded in death by his parents Leonard & Sophie, his first wife Marcia, three brothers Leonard, James and Jerry; two sisters-in-law Jane Koeser and Ann Berger; and two brothers-in-law Kenneth and Frederick Koeser.

Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center and services for Peachy will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2015 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Tom Reynebeau with burial of the cremated remains to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers. Military graveside services will be accorded by the VFW and American Legion of Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the church from 9:00 a.m until 10:15 a.m.
