Peggy Burlingame Obituary

Peggy Burlingame, 71

Peggy Jean Burlingame (Schuler), born April 20th 1954, in Milford, DE, passed away Sunday, November 23rd, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Peggy lived a life in service to her family, friends, and community. For 30 years she ministered to others as a critical care and cardiac rehabilitation nurse in both Milford, Delaware, and Loudoun County, Virginia. Throughout her life, she thoughtfully pursued her many handwork crafts and created countless cards, hats, pairs of mittens, socks, sweaters, and blankets for loved ones and those in need. She cherished her close friendships in each of the communities where she lived, treasuring her "gal pal" time. All who knew her felt her love and kindness and, most importantly to Peggy, her devotion to Christ.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ed Burlingame; daughter, Rachel (Greg) Wilson; son, J.Zachary (Brenda) Burlingame; four grandchildren, Andrew Pregont, Levi Pregont, Joshua Burlingame, and Rebecca Burlingame; a sister, Mona Runewicz of PA; a brother, William Schuler III of DE; a sister-in-law, Heidi LeGates of FL; a brother-in-law, Robert Burlingame of VA; as well as other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 29th, 2025, at 11:00am at Columbia Mortuary, 1010 4th Ave. W, Columbia Falls, MT.

Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Peggy's honor may be made to the Columbia Falls Food Bank, 82 Railroad St., Columbia Falls, MT 59912.
