Ada E. Moore, 70, of Madison, passed away Monday. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Allen Moore and mother, Carolyn Williams Johnson. Ms. Moore taught in Madison County Schools, and returned to her alma mater, Butler High School, where she served as librarian, retiring after 33 years. Following retirement, she worked at the Huntsville/Madison County Visitors Center at Huntsville International Airport. She loved dogs and cats. Survivors include her stepfather, Hoyt Johnson; sister, Sue McClung; niece, Lisa Bath (David); and great-nephews, Zachary and Jacob Bath. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 22 at Madison City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Athens Bible School "Play it Forward" program (https://athensbible.com/playitforward/).

Very sorry to hear this news. Ada was a great teacher for the Harvest School community. As her Principal and friend she will be missed by all that worked with her and knew her.
