Allan G. Seitz

Allan G. Seitz was born on July 14, 1934 in East Detroit, Michigan and passed away on September 21, 2020 in Huntsville, Alabama. Visitation was held on September 24, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home, followed by Celebration of Life Service. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1958 and went on to be an Electrical Engineer with Chrysler Corporation for 40 years. Allan had an obvious love of boats, both small and large -- but mostly LARGE, and was an avid yachtsman. He held a variety of positions at the Guntersville Lake Yacht Club over the years and served as Commodore in 2002. Allan was a man of few words at times due to his hearing disability but was very interesting when he did speak. He is preceded in death by Alexander Seitz (Father), Helen Seitz (Mother), Terry "Bubba" Snyder (Son), Robert Seitz (Brother). Allan is survived by Donna Seitz (Wife of 51 years), Chris Tuck Oliver (Douglas) (Daughter), Shannon Newby (Marc) (Daughter), Paul Seitz (Lainne) (Son), Michelle Moore (Joe) (Daughter); grandchildren, Markham and Travis Tuck, Jordan and Devin Newby, Wyn and Waylen Seitz, Katrina and Alyssa Moore.
