Connie Murray Obituary
February 15, 1930 - January 12, 2016
Connie Louise Murray of Meridian passed away at home with family by her side. Connie was born in Boise, Idaho on February 15, 1930. She married Earl Murray on May 19, 1947. Connie worked at Lucky Peak Tree Nursery from 1966-1992 when she retired. She then drove supply trucks for NIFC until well into her 70's, supporting wildfire relief. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Earl who passed away August 23, 1997. She is survived by their 6 children; Mike Murray (Phoenix, AZ), Curt Murray (Meridian, ID), Steve Murray (Boise, ID), Donna Carroll (Meridian, ID), Dianne Kelly (Boise, ID), Lori Ford (Nampa, ID), and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday January 15th at 2 pm at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Home, a small graveside service to follow at Dry Creek Cemetery.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your Mother, for there shall always be a huge void in your heart's forever.
I had the pleasure of working with Connie for over 20 years at the Lucky Peak Nursery. The hours of working in the fields together in almost 100 degree temperatures, to freezing together in the cold winter days. We had plenty of time to visit as we worked, and Connie always had a lot to say about life and her children. It's like we knew each one of you personally, because she could describe each one of you as only Connie could. You knew that no matter what, she loved each one of you in her own unique way. You were truly blessed to have Connie as your Mother. May God bless your family, Erika Barker
